Business partners, and best mates Matt & Jacques, founded Matt x Jacques with the goal of creating love stories that can be truly felt. Our intention is to provide you with a final collection of images that communicates the experience of your wedding. A story about who you are as people, and about the beautiful human beings you care for the most. Each image captured from a unique perspective that leaves you feeling the way you felt at that very moment.
Our method begins long before your wedding day. You see, the key to capturing imagery that is authentic, timeless, and leaves you really feeling something is comfort. Comfort is something we build through real meaningful conversations. Catching up for vino's and coffees to simply talk and get to know each other on a deeper level is core to our method. By the time we get to your wedding day, we have an organic friendship... you trust us! That means during moments you might hesitate being vulnerable in around a stranger with a lens, you don't. Why? We tell your love story timelessly using a combination of digital (edited in a more fine art, authentic style), 35mm film, 120mm film, and if it resonates a short home movie on our 1965 Super 8 mechanical film camera.
